Here are some brutally honest reminders to make sure you are purchasing something you are indeed looking for.

We capture our products in optimal lighting to showcase them at their best. While the style may appear slightly different in various settings, we do not use filters, so what you see is what you’ll get under the same lighting conditions.

Flaws

 

While we strive for perfection, handmade craftsmanship may include minor imperfections—part of the beauty of bespoke. Some, like light scratches on metal parts only visible under direct light, are considered acceptable. Others, such as a piece of torn leather, are not and are typically caught during quality control.

In the rare event that a flawed item reaches you, we sincerely apologize. We will cover all costs to have it returned and corrected. Please note, that we do not offer full refunds due to the high cost of raw materials, which can often exceed the profit of several styles. We chose not to charge luxury-brand markup to afford the according service and this is one of the few cons.

LOGOs

 

Each style features two logos, the Rumoir brand logo and a studio logo. Both logos contain encrypted information—one for verifying the authenticity and the other for honouring and tracing the craftsman responsible for the piece.

 

Yes, surprisingly, we have encountered knockoffs, in terms of both products and social media accounts, even before the official launch of the Rumoir brand. 

 

Store Purchase

 

Items purchased from our Store are fully refundable within 14 days of delivery, provided the product is returned in its original condition with no damage.

 

We inspect and document items’ condition before shipping and upon return, but we highly recommend customers record a video when unboxing for extra assurance.

 

Bespoke Service

​

Due to their personalized nature, most bespoke styles are non-refundable.

 

However, if the design does not include specific personalized elements such as engravings or unique patterns, we offer to list the item on our website for resale at a discount (typically around 30% off), should you request.

 

Process and Delivery Time

 

On average, the entire process takes about 1 month:

​

  • 0.5 weeks: Email communication to fine-tune the design. This step often takes longer than expected, as we like to ensure every detail is addressed before moving forward. We're patient and happy to make sure everything is just right for you.

  • 2-3 weeks: Crafting the collar, depending on the complexity of the design, from sourcing materials to molding and assembly.

  • 1-2 weeks: Shipping, depending on location.

 

*Customs clearance time is not included in the estimated delivery timeframe, as it can vary widely from 1 day to 2 months depending on the destination country, season, and other factors.

 

Expedited Serviceervice

​

We offer expedited service, reducing crafting time by approximately one week for an additional 30% fee of your order price.

​

We generally discourage this option as it puts extra pressure on our craftsmen. Additionally, while we can expedite by about a week, this is a small adjustment considering the overall scale and potential uncertainties.

We provide this service for customers with urgent deadlines, who would exhaust all options to have it as soon as possible.
